Robert the Bruce Inspired by a Persevering Spider

Robert the Bruce Inspired by Spider and Becoming Successful King

Prompt

Robert the Bruce was the king of Scotland. He fought many battles against the English to free his country, but he was defeated again and again. After several failures, he became tired, disappointed, and lost hope. Feeling ashamed and helpless, he ran away and hid in a small cave. One day, while resting in the cave, Robert noticed a spider trying to climb up a wall to reach its web. The spider tried again and again but fell down every time. It failed six times. Robert watched carefully and thought, “If this tiny spider can’t succeed, how can I?” But the spider didn’t give up. On the seventh attempt, it finally succeeded in reaching the web. Seeing this, Robert felt ashamed of losing hope so quickly. He realized that failure is not the end, and success comes to those who keep trying. Inspired by the spider, Robert gathered courage, came out of hiding, united his soldiers again, and fought once more. This time, he defeated the English and became a successful king.
